R.I.P. Tony Benn

Just reported on BBC that Tony Benn has died aged 88. He has been ill for some time.
Love him or hate him he was a man of principles, a brilliant orator and debater.

One of the few politicians who I felt actually believed in and lived by the principles he espoused. Parliament could do with more of his ilk. Sadly I don't think there are any in the current bunch....

He was mad as a box of frogs.
RIP, but never thought much of him in life. All mouth , never got to be the leader of that party, he was proper silly with his actions, mouthy but supose he believed in his stance.

Only politician I ever had any faith in - and he had his faults but much better than the bunch of twicers we have at the moment!!
