Is there any way of getting a bus from Tatlisu area to Kyrenia.

I think there is a daily bus to Nocosia but I might be wrong - if there is what times does it run?

Also why is there no fruit and veg market out this way when so much of the produce is grown out here?
Seems to me that if one of the farmers had a farm stall they would do very well indeed -would save a long drive for many people .

thanks for any answers

Hi,

We live on the coast road between Tatlisu and Esentepe, we see a bus pass us around 7.30am and again around 1.30pm going towards Girne.
I suggest you go up to Tatlisu village and ask about public transport to and from Girne. I realise unless you speak Turkish this might prove difficult, so I would try and do a translation with google and take this with you. The translation may not be perfect but they will get the gist of what you are trying to ask for. There could also be a timetable up if you can find a bus shelter in the village.

There are some good English-speaking Beledisyi officials in Tatlisu. Failing that, either ask a local TC or ask them to find out.

Tatlisu mukhtar speaks good English. She has the café/farm on the opposite side of the main road to the Belidiye beach.
