There is a large fluffy cream coloured dog wandering around at Bufavento village Catalkoy. Very friendly and has a collar with a piece of broken rope on it.

Its face is very Alsation like there was another dog with him a bit like a dalmation but thats gone now.

Unfortunately there are more and more 'lost' dogs, has anyone else noticed the amount of dogs wandering around?. I do think people are worried about the additional costs this chipping is costing. I know people only say its 70tl but realistically a lot of people who work earn this a day.
What made me laugh in Cyprus Today they say the fine could be as much as 4 x the minimum wage 1560tl (6240!) and the threat of imprisonment. If this is true this country has really got to open its eyes on what is important, motorcyclists without helmets, Children not being belted in or someone who has taken a stray dog off the street and can't afford to take it to vet for a chip.
Sorry Deniz I have gone off subject but I think you will be seeing a lot more 'lost' dogs.

I am sure I will, I feel sorry for him/her as it must have belonged to someone and the frayed bit of rope probably means he just broke it and wandered off. Can tell what sex as its too fluffy to tell.

snd1966, for "lost" read "dump" and its going to get worse. Government insists on microchip and stops insisting on worming. How stupid is that?
