Atlas Jet - how do I pay?

Does anyone know how to pay for tickets with Atlas Jet. I have reserved the flights on line but cant get the payment system to work. I have checked with my bank and the transactions are fine that end but there seems to be an issue at the Atlas end. It comes up with a system malfunction GWERROR_96. I tried last week and again today but with the same results. If you ring the call centre number and press 9 for English you get an unintelligle message and no reply. Does anyone know how you can confirm your booking and pay for the tickets please?

Are the bank recognising that an attempt has been made or is it not getting that far? I booked last year and think it went through fine. I do sometimes have to contact the bank occasionally when booking Pegasus as it comes up as a possible fraud due to being in Turkey. Sounds daft but have you tried another computer?

You cannot pay with a debit card it must be a credit card. Also I think you have to present the card at the time of check in and there is also some issue if the card is from a bank that does not have branches in Turkey. Sorry to be vague but I cannot remember the exact details but it does tell you on the website at the time of payment.

Yes it is not clear but it must be credit card and not debit card I thought I was going mad after trying 3 debit cards I called them and I paid with debit card via their London travel agent (sorry can't remember agents name).

Visit the Atlasjet office by the Main Lefkosa roundabout in Girne next to Elektrokur they will deal with it

Thank you all for your helpful suggestions. I have been trying to pay with a credit card and the fraud department of my bank say the payment has beeen authorised ok at their end both times I tried, but that the money is not being taken at the Atlas Jet end. Unfortunately I am not able to go into their offices in Girne as I am in London at the moment.

A couple of years back we had trouble paying for flights from a well known travel Agent in Girne - the reason? because all I had on me at the time was my debit card. They explained that it took about 6 weeks to get money through via a debit card. I then went to one of the banks in Girne who told me that (at the time) TC banks were not geared up for debit card, only credit cards. Turkish banks were OK though. I don't know if this has improved since. i booked flights to Turkey for September of this year using Skype to the Pegasus offices in Turkey and they wouldn't accept debit card either.

Just found correspondence ,it was Istanbul Travel that sorted my flight (Atlasjet put me on to them) after payment problems 0208 800 5775 or 0207 249 4449.

Thank you all for your help. In the end I found and equally good deal with Turkish at civilised times and short stopovers. Think I will stick with good old Turkish in the future, though I did travel with Atlas a couple of years ago and thought the in flight service was great but remember even then having trouble with the website.
