In one way it is to the TCs' advantage when such comments are made, because it enables more of the international community to realise what sort of people the TCs have to deal with.

they are very sad, bitter and uneducated people. If only they spent more time sorting out their internal and financial problems their country would be in a better state

It amazes me that the Greek Orthodox Church purports to be Christian. Seems to me they are more interested in wordly wealth, political power and social control.

I'm no theologian, but I doubt Jesus was about all that !!!.

The worrying this is though.People actually listen and take on board what these bigots say.How is Cyprus expected to move forward when they have luddites for mouth pieces.

Whats done is done.And lets move on.Britain.Germany.Poland.Russia.Italy.etc,etc.All have previous.God knows we (Britain) are one of the worst offenders for wars over the centuries.

But it doesnt stop us trading with countries that we have had previous troubles with.It seems to me that its time that someone should get around to talking to these holier than thou characters and put them in their respective places.

Why does such a small country like Southern Cyprus carry so much clout.

I don't know if they carry that much "clout" Dodger, but it seems to me that there will always be at least a few receptive ears for them in the west, merely because they are Caucasian Christians. Considering the attrocities they committed against the TCs, for me it's the main reason as to why the international community sided with them.

Time that the rest of the world removed the blinkers then Ian.
