Turkish clocks change?

Just noticed on the Pegasus website that Turkey have decreed that instead of the clocks changing on 30th March they will change on 31st March! Surely this will be at odds with all other countries who change this weekend!
Anyone flying better be prepared.

So what the hell do I do then? I have someone coming in from Stansted using Pegasus supposedly at 7.15am on Sunday. Do I get there at 7.15, 6.15 or 8.15.

Hi Sophie if you get them to advise you what time they are leaving Stansted just add 6 hours to it whatever the time is will not matter.

sophie- In light of the Pegasus flight leaving Stansted prior to the UK time change, it will not effect your flight arrival at 07.15 as normal. as the departure is well before the changes taking effect in the UK.
What will be interesting though is that between the North & South Cyprus will have 1 hour time difference by crossing the Green line.

They're never going to get into the EU if they go around thinking they start faffing around with the time!! Ozankoy, that remains the $64,000 questions, if we knew the answer to that one we would all need a crystal ball.

If you type Kyrenia in the city name on this page it says the clocks change on Sunday morning as opposed to Monday morning for Istanbul :/ - so it would appear we are consistent with the rest of the world and not with Turkey (according to this website) :/ :/ :/

According to the local press, the clock will change at 03:00am for 1 hour forward according too International and not Turkey, Turkey will go one hour forward as effect from Sunday/Monday.so there will be one hour time difference between Cyprus and Turkey.

Well, I went to collect passenger at 7.15am and plane arrived just 15mins later. However, the UK end didn't seem to know what it was going on. My daughter had an Email 2 weeks ago to say the plane departure date from Stansted had been changed by two hours, then last week she had another Email to say there was one hour difference, then 3 days ago another message came through to say, ignore all messages and go by the times first published on tickets purchase over 2 months ago.

Own Lady- Thanks for your support. Hopefully if enough Tc come out to vote we can achieve something but Tc and EU citizens living in the north don't to be to concerned about being represented in the EU parliament. They just like to moan and complain that the EU is not helping helping them out. Even the EU nationals are not really interested but what most people are not aware of, with the Lisbon Treaty coming into effect this year making life in the EU more about people then anything else, Making a complaints by the ordinary EU citizens much easier for their cases to be brought to the attention of the EU Parliament.
