Hello everyone, not sure where I should post this, so writing in hopes the moderator will move this post accordingly. I am looking for a Turkish native speaker to help me practice Turkish IN EXCHANGE to classes of English/ Chinese/ Russian. I am a Russian native speaker with two degrees: in English and in Chinese. Lived in China for 8 years, experienced in language teaching. Generally I charge for classes (taught in schools and privately for years), but right now I am ready to teach one-to-one for free 1-2 times a week in exchange for the same amount of Turkish practice. However, I'm looking for someone who can speak some English (as my Turkish is very basic) and preferably has some linguistic background and/or teaching experience. This is a one-time opportunity, as one year down the road I might just learn Turkish by myself:D

Wow, no replies. Are there any Turkish speakers on the island?:D Can't find a purely Turkish forum either:( Judging by how we struggle to reach understanding sometimes here, you'd think there would be tons of people who'd at least want to have some English classes for free... Heh. If anyone can recommend a popular Turkish forum, please do, I'll write the same in Turkish there.
