He's going - going -going to a new home.
Checkpoint Charlie has been chosen ! A lovely couple called the KAR office this morning to find out some more info about Charlie (after reading of his travels !!). They then visited him at the Rescue Centre and decided that he is the dog for them. So in a couple of weeks Charlie will be going to a new "forever" home of his own.
Happy days are ahead for Charlie - and many of them we hope.
Thank you to everyone who has shown an interest in Charlie - we couldn't have wished for a better ending to Charlie's story.

My other half was up at the shelter when 'Checkpoint Charlie' was with his new family to be! What a laughing dog was he!!!
Well done Julie and all of you up there working behind the spotlight!

Wish it was a little as 200. I think there were 265 adults and heaven only knows how many pups up there yesterday. Not to mention the cats!!

Just goes to prove that the neuter and return policy, so criticised by so many, does at least give the dogs a chance of a good life.
