It was a complete DISASTER.

After being at the center of attention for like 30 mins, Donkey got into a fame trip and refused to do the run unless in a limousine. He ended up not running and STILL got a medal from the committee, why do celebrities get away with everything???

Max was surrounded by tens of children who seemed like they want to play, pet him, and the like but all was probably part of an elaborate plan by those ferocious kids to tire Max before the race so he would have got no chance to win, and Max fell right for it. All those kids and their balloons was too much for poor Max. We did end up doing the 5km walk, but I had to carry Max behind my back on the last km...

Ice apparently didnt get what this race was all about. it looked like he thought being petted by as much people as possible was the goal, and at the end, he was walking around proud as the undisputed champion... Some accounts state that he did complete the 5km walk but how and with who, nobody knows...

As for myself, I would've walked 8km but not with Max on my back...

Sounds like a total disaster:) but I totally understand why poor Max was exhausted having to entertain all those children, of course he needed a lift to do the run, and don't forget he thought he was going in the cart that Donkey was supposed to pull, with you. I did see a picture of Ice on the walk with a man and some girls(such a flirt) and he looked as if he was pulling quite a bit - did he win??????? I bet he was thirsty after.
The question I want to ask though, is how did Donkey get to the race? I loved his MM saddle cloth, he looked very smart.
Actually I think it was a huge success and congratulations to all at MM (animals included) for putting on some entertainment. (Shhh don't tell anyone, but I also saw a picture of you sitting down in a corner - were you hiding?)

I don't know what your problem was Kemal! any excuse not to do the 8K.Just because "little Max" was a little tired and wanted a lift? Looking forward to the photos

Lovely pictures, and yes Max looks like a typical Rottweiller, really fierce, and the children look terrified.!!! Actually a good lesson for the children to see it's the owners that make the dog, not the breed. Unfortunately the link of you and Max after the walk and Ice on the walk can't be seen for some reason. Looks like you all had a great time, and I take it that now that Lady Orange has changed her name, it all worked out with Zeynep. I bet Donkey provided great entertainment, he really is cute, and I loved his saddle cloth with Multimax on. Very impressed with you doing the 5km walk. A happy ending all round.
