Looking for supplier of white goods. Halos seem to have a good selection at competitive prices. Would welcome feedback from customers and if after care service is as good as they say. thanks

Have only bought small household items from Halos and found them to be extremely helpful but we have not bought any large items so cannot comment on their after care service.

However most of our white goods were purchased from Beko and their customer care service has been excellent on the few occassions that we have needed them.

Thanks for your helpful reply Squashmad. Builder recommended Arcelik and I know their after care is good but the range is very limited and quite pricey. I will take a look at what is on offer from Beko too.

After you have visited Beko (in Girne), nip next door to Toros. I've found them to be very helpful, and competitive.

We have replaced all of our original kitchen appliances with ones from Halos in Karakum. Double oven, hob, fridge freezer. Replaced them as they had worn out.
The service from Halos when buying and installing was great. Hope I am not tempting fate but have not needed after sales service yet so can't comment.
We recently replaced the dish washer and tumble dryer but went to Arcelik for those as we have had great customer service from them in the past.

All in all I think we can probably agree that the large electrical companies here are all pretty good and after sales as well, which is more than I can say for some of the UK majors I used to use. They might have been a tad more expensive than the some, but I used to find that John Lewis and their "no quibble" policy was far ahead of everyone else. I hope they are still living up to their reputation?

Many thanks to all those who took the trouble to reply. I visited Halos Alsancak today and they have some good deals at the moment but will also check out the other recommendations. Sold a load of stuff that was left in the house at Lambousa auction today so one item is already paid for! : ) Have never been involved with forums etc before coming here and must say I find it very informative and often amusing so keep up the good work everyone.
