According to Bosphorus University's Kandilli Research Centre the earthquake at 3.44pm today had a magnitude of 6.0 and its epicentre was just off the coast, close to Ölü Deniz.
According to http://www.haberler.com/akdeniz-de-6-si ... 68-haberi/ the earthquake was strong enough in the surrounding areas to topple televisions, plant pots etc, and it could be felt as far afield as here in Cyprus (albeit weakly). Six people were injured and hospitalised after jumping from windows in panic.

Can't say the earth moved for me, and I don't want it too, especially when you think that Cyprus is long overdue an earthquake. Maybe it will pass us by for ever. Don't fancy the experience. Been in some shakes here and there (Athens, Corinth, and even Wales) but don't fancy facing anything too uncomfortable. Hope everyone is O.K. in the region over in Turkey.
