Hi, is anyone else having problems signing into their hotmail account?
for five days I've been getting a message saying that they're being overprotective and asking for phone numbers or an email address to send a security code to.
Now, it won't let me get past this stage, as I have no English phone number to give them. Grrrrrrr

I have been having problems with hotmail for over a week now.

I use it to keep in touch with my daughter in Hong Kong but keep getting the message, ''unable to connect'', it took me nearly 2 hours just to get into my emails.

I am looking for a reliable alternative, any suggestions anyone?

My husband has had the same trouble for nearly a week now !! plus the internet has been dreadful for the same length of time,, whether this is the problem, i dont know,, waste of money at the moment !! lets hope we get sorted !!

I did have the same problem.Regarding u/k phone numbers the drop down box gives you many countries.Msn just sent me a 4 digit code and its now o/k.

Try gmail BB, I have been with gmail since I was in Cyprus, and still use it. I have had a few niggles, but nothing major.

I have a 'hotmail.co.uk' account. I use it daily and I have had no problems whatsoever.

(yeah - I know - tempting fate!)

gmail works for me!" And supposedly "more secure" than hotmail.

No emails since Monday on my liive.com account or my wife's live.co.uk account (both Hotmail by another name)!!!

My Husband has had the same problem. He had to get a code sent to my email address. If persists gmail is good I have set this up and no problems.
