Can you identify this plant

I have one. I was told its name is a chrysalis. It gets it flowers and then it's leaves. Grows quickly and quite large. It's thorns are nasty. Doesn't need much water (unless mine has found an underground source). The red flowers are really lovely, especially as they are one of the first in my garden

Think you will find this is the Erythrina x sykesii or Common Coral Tree have a look here, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erythrina

This is a perennial called Leonotis Leonurus and it requires a hot position, full sun and little watering. Stunning when in flower.

I thought it was a coral tree. They have one at Green Heights. Very beautiful when covered in flowers.

On Lemon Grove it was correctly identified as The Tiger Claw Indian Coral.
