On the news this lunchtime they said that over the next few days the temperature could go up another 8 degrees. I leave on Wednesday for UK for some time so will be out of it. I ask all of you to be careful as can be deadly for some people - take care.

As ever, I appeal to everyone out here - if you really must go out in the sun, be careful. Do it in short stints, wear a hat, sit under a brolly or a tree more often than not - you will still get a tan! Drink plenty of fluids (preferably water based!) and, above all, wear a sun protection cream or oil. Even if you're not prone to tan, your skin is still at risk of developing problems, be it cancer or other skin problems. And even if you are in your 80s, you still need to look after yourself (I've heard it so many times, "why should I worry now at my age!").
So ... if you haven't got that all important sun protection cream, lotion or oil, please come to see me at either Chateau Lambousa on Saturday mornings or Pine Bay Sunday market in Karaoğlanoğlu. I have it all. I have imported Cabana and Calypso ranges of dry oil, sun lotion, deep tanning oils ranging from factor 6 to 50. I have cream especially for the face at factor 15 (in fact this is so good I use it as my daily moisturiser now, even in winter!) and lip protection cream. And have a wide range of aftersun creams and gels including Aloe Vera Aftersun Gel to help cool you down (fantastic when taken straight out of the fridge!!).
And when the sun has gone down and you still want to sit out under the stars don't forget I have the insect repellent sprays and roll ons that you'll need too.
So you really have no excuse.

Hi RoyalCorps,
Thanks for your message. Actually, there is a new(ish) market just started up at the Bookshop in Ozanköy on Wednesdays and we plan to go to that if you'd like to come to get your suncreams etc. - will also be there with the gold jewellery and hoping some of you will bring your jewels to us to buy from you for CASH! (broken or otherwise, it doesn't matter to me as long as it's gold).
One of us will be at that market from 9.30am, so I hope you'll come along to support us.
