Hi does anyone know where I can get a tetanus jab please ?

I had mine in Girne State hospital last year. I am sure any of the private hospitals will do it as well.

I had mine done at VIPmed - probably best to phone to check they have the vaccine. 0392 444 9911.

Like Owl Lady I had mine at the State Hospital last year Cost 10tl. No-one asked me when I'd had my last jab though. Not sure that private hospitals do either.

Sounds like it is cheaper at the State hospital though I can't remember exactly how much I paid. I wasn't asked when I last had one but I had a printout of my medical records so knew it was just over 10 years ago.

The private hospitals will all do the jab. I had one 2 years ago, then had to go back 6 months later for the second part.

I had to go back for 2nd one at state hospital .Actually it was 2 years ago and I remember the details now. I had to go to A&E as I was bitten by a dog, mine actually as I tried to separate a dog fight, never again. Let the b-----s fight. Stitches is both hands and arm!!

My husband and I Had our tetanus jabs at Girne State Hospital , having got ourselves in the middle of a cat fight !.
Both of us covered in scratches !. No charge at hospital. think they thought we were mentally unstable when we told them what happened !.

Looks like we're all as mad as each other. Mine was a dog bite as well - right down to the bone. I showed them my arm when I arrived and was immediately shown right to the top of the queue, with calls of Kopek, Kopek being passed from one to the other!!

Our Chemist in Catalkoy (next to Donahy & Beyler) gave my wife and I our Tetanus jabs for 20TL each.

Ditto, pharmacist in Catalkoy. Just go in and all done in just a minute or two.
