Dyson vacuum cleaner
Mine has died finally
Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the North that sells Dysons?

Unless someone has taken on the franchise within the last couple of months I think you'll find the answer is NO. This question comes up from time to time and the answer always seems to be, "you have to go down south." (unless of course someone puts one on the For Sale section)

I brought mine over from UK as could not find anywhere in the North that sold them
Please keep us posted if you find somewhere as hoovers do struggle and die with all the dust

Re: Dyson vacuum cleaner
We actually managed to get hold of one a friend had thrown out as he found it too heavy. Mr Panchocat has now mended ours by canabalising parts from that one and we also now have every conceivable spare part in case of further breakdowns! Apart from the motor which was the part that had died.
Intend to look at them in the UK when we are next over to see the weight etc of them.

No matter how hard the past, you can always begin again.

Re: Dyson vacuum cleaner
We found in the past that companies in the UK that specialise in replacing spare parts for dozens of different types of vacuums, were far, far cheaper than buying direct from Dyson themselves but you have to know what actual part is defunct. If it has just died then you have a bit of a problem. Unfortunately the upright -v- pull and drag is a problem in most of Europe. For some reason or another most Europeans prefer pull and drag. I don't like them but have been forced to buy two since moving over here.
