We are about to renew our tc driving licenses, do we need mukhters letter and photos is there anything else?

Copy of your residency. And passport

It was quite painless when we did it end of 2013. They take your licence, give you a slip of paper to say your licence is being renewed and tell you come back in 3/4/5 weeks, dependent on how busy they are.

Didnt ask me for my passport last time.

Thanks for your replies, as we are well over 60 we have chosen not to renew our residency this year. As I understand it a mukhters letter will
now do. Also my passport is almost ready for renewal, will this cause problems? They don't put your passport number on the driving license as I have checked. Also where do you go in Girne to renew, last time we paid someone to do it for us but would like to try and do it ourselves.

From the law courts in Girne travelling towards the State Hospital, turn left before the hospital. Follow the road around the bends, hospital car park on your right. Take the next right, then 1st right and seek parking somewhere. The taxation office is a large white buildong on your right. Through main entry door and driving licence office is at 11 o'clock from the main concourse. Renewal forms have an English translation.

My dob and passport number are on the reverse side of my Turkish driving licence

You are right it is on the reverse side, I never checked this (Senior moment).
