Hello All,

Does anyone know whether there is a TNT office in Girne (or Lefkosa)? If so, directions to it would be greatly appreciated.

TNT in Lefkosa,from Girne,turn left at big roundabout go along there not sure exactly how far,its on the right hand side.Dont know of another.

DHL have an office along that way - is that the one you are thinking of?

I found this about a TNT office on a defunct website, and it was from late 2011, but who knows, it may be there

Tried to import some stuff for the boat from the USA.
The only TNT agent they gave me was on the South, so I paid them a visit.
They told me I needed an address in the South to ship to Cyprus with TNT and they would not allow me to collect at the office.
TNT office in the South is on the right after Alfa Maga and just thought the next light.
Needless to say I chose DHL who do deliver to the North.

Thanks everyone - I'll take a drive down to the new harbour tomorrow.

Sorry HotHippo,my mistake,it is DHL.

TNT are in the same office block as DHL on the Industrial estate in Lefkosia

DHL have actually re-located (although their logo is still all over the outside facade of the building), and TNT are on the 1st floor.

DHL in the South do accept collection from their office if you have no address in South. A lot quicker than what you would get up North and I believe they are not actually proper DHL office in North but "representatives" (probably of the one in Turkey) - which may require an extra payment at this end for delivered parcels. The outgoing charges are also a lot higher than normal.

I posted 1 kilo of Hellim cheese sample to a company in Italy few weeks ago. Did not do an overnight express but the satndard rate which was cheap. It got there within 48 hours! The added benefit is, you can send fresh produce to Europe with no problems because it is within EU.
