Directions if coming from Girne, drive west past Lapta Strip heading west to Karsiyaka stay on the coast road, past Karsiyaka Square towards Karsiyaka beach you will see.a large sign on the the left hand side of the road HASEKI HURREM turn left, the Hotel is about a hundred meters on the right hand side.

Is the barbecue in the private beach? Nice sunny day for it.

Apart from military beaches there are only two privately owned beaches in the TRNC... so I don't think this is 'private'. Apart from the military and the two private beaches all other beaches are leased for 49 years from the govt. and access to them for all is guaranteed by the terms of the lease... i.e. the tenant can not turn members of the public away. Doesn't stop them trying though and also attempting to levy a charge for access. They can of course charge for any service they provide above and beyond mere access.

The BBQ is at the hotel, around the pool area, I think the hotel is beautiful lovely atmosphere, very friendly staff and worth the money.
