Really pi**ed off.

Last games of the season. Non stop buffering for first 20 mins, then totally gone on all Sky Sports Channels.

NTV may be the best of what there is, but when it goes on such an important afternoon, when the online help, is away, when there is no point submitting requests, or emails as it is live NOW, I just want to scream.

For the many who are not interested in Premiership football, I am not interested in your comments, nor am I interested in JOHNNIE hijacking this to say how wonderful NTV are. I have said they are the best of the rest, so JOHNNIE, there is nothing for you to add, unless you are also pi**ed off.

Same here, but, and a big but, why are you so surprised???? this is North Cyprus. I spoke with a local last night with the issues here, she said, anything can happen here. You are right, NTV is the best we have, we have to suck it up.

Like Mollie the Cat, I have to say we are really lucky to have what we have. There is a certain person in this household who is ready to do someone a serious injury but realises that there is nothing he can do. We are lucky to have NTV and unless we spend mega bucks and pay for a dish and paying for Sky, things are not going to be anywhere near perfect. There is no point whatsoever in ranting at Jonnie (who ever he may be - even if he works for Multimax) . This is the TRNC, so you just have to live with it.

For info there is a short message on the 'home' section of the NTV website that reads

"2014/05/11 Channels issue (resolved)

We just had a DDoS attack, all channels are already back"

Erol, I know you must have all been working behind the scenes, but would it not have been possible to have put up a message letting us know there is a problem?

I did look all the time at the home page!

BeIN had stupid boxes appearing on the screen all the time. Also my speed dropped to less than 0.5 even though I. Pay for 20.

MM helpline said send an email. 90 mins later, no response. Rang Olgur, said he will call back in 2 mins, still waiting for 30 mins.

This is not a world class customer service operation, even though once again, I will acknowledge it is the best of the rest!

PS, if NTV is nothing to do with MM, how come my credit card statement states MM when I. Pay NTV?

I dont know if this will make any of you feel better but,I am in the u/k and I could not get Sky go this afternoon either.And the wife wanted to watch the football

I have been watching the premier league all season on Digiturk. Sometimes 5 games at the weekend and also midweek fixtures. Today was the climax to the season and a significant decider. What happens? Digiturk tell me on screen I need to subscribe to watch this channel. Aaaaaaarrgh! My renewal is not due you tossers! My goodness I feel better already. Sorry for all you other folks that were unable to witness the final game of the EPL season. Rant over. World cup soon. Yes

Was at a friends watching ntv football when we lost all sky channels, sport, news, all. Put the laptop on and skygo told us that it was not available, {did have the vpn on}, problems in our area. Watched the rest of the game on ntv bein sport channel with no problem

Just to say it's not just them

I had Sky Sports F1 no problem, watched the whole of the Spanish Grand Prix, an excellent race with Hamilton No1

we watched them on BEINSPORTS and our card is not paired with the box.

I dont think what you are asking exists. Expecting a 1-2 hour turnaround on a SUNDAY for a HOME connection would not be world class, it would probably be out of this world. As a reference, Multimax usually fixes issues within 2 hours approx half the time, and better than 90% within 24 hours. As it stands, we are well within world class customer service operation levels. Exceptions will always be exceptions.

We never said NTV is nothing to do with MM. What we have always said is that they are seperate entities, owned by seperate people, providing their own systems and support operations. In this context, they do not have anything in common. However, MM and NTV does cooperate at the administrative levels; Multimax providing credit card processing for NTV for a comission being one of them.
