Does anyone know if there are any companies that do day trips around north cyprus? I know the hotels offer trips but is there anywhere else I can try? I have tried a few tour operators web sites with no luck. Also there was a place in Girne that offered day trips to the south. Does anyone know if that place is still there and where it is ? Thanks

Hi Libby.

My daughter will be coming for a holiday in September. I stayed up at the Karpaz years ago at the Lirvana bed and breakfast and loved it, she has never been there.

The nearest we got to it when she came 3 years ago, was a disastrous one night stay at the bogas hotel, we had booked for 3 but conditions were so disgusting that we left after one night.

I have enquired re taxis to take us up there but the prices quoted were crazy.

What can you offer in terms of, transport to and from and accommodation for possibly a week?

Try http://www.birdrentacar.com I know they do tours as well as Taxis and Car Hire. They have a 16 seater min-bus. I can highly recommend them.
