If you want a plug-in timer to run your pool pump - I've got some brand new ones that I will sell on our market stall this Saturday...Lemar Catalkoy 10am - 3pm. My sister bought me a pack of four and you only need so many timers in your life!
They are 24hr in 15min intervals with manual override and LED indicator... 13amp, 240v, 50hz.
Only 30tl each.

Get one with a Battrey backup far less hassle available from Ali Tektan in Girne.

The battery back-up one seems like a good idea but the dampness inherent in a pool pump room does not help in their longevity.

Any timer will be affaected by the humidity, the mechanics of a basic timer or the circuitry of an electronic timer.
Fit a plastic electric box to the wall, with rubber grommets or glands for the cables in (mains) and out (to the pump).
Mount the electric timer in the box and gland the cables.
Humidity proof system.
Make sure the timer is rated enough for the pump.
