Dolphin shipped a car over for us it was around £1400 in September 2011. The tax & duty are horrendous that is why cars are so expensive here, we paid nearly £7000 on a car they classed as a 1300 cc. The bigger the engine the more you pay. As a rough guide whatever you pay for a car in UK costs twice as much by the time it is on the road here.

Unless you are wealthy, don't even think about it. Forget Glasses guide etc., value is usually based on "think of a number and double or even treble it" We didn't even bother and some people have really been hammered.

Agree with the postings so far. Importing is expensive.

Vehicles purchased either new or second hand in North Cyprus are also expensive compared to the UK.

Wether you decide to import or buy locally be prepared to bite the bullet and pay.

Vehicles are advertised on this forum or you could post a note saying what you are looking for and maybe someone will have same for sale. Occasionally if someone is returning to the Uk and just wants a quick sale or to get rid of a car there may be a bargain to be had.

Alternatively this website will give you an idea of what you get for your money. You will be shocked at what the prices are when you look at the age etc. One good thing is that they dont rust and also are slow to devalue.
