Hur Deniz and Ileli have both in the past sold Idris and/or Ben Shaws Ginger Beer. I wouldn't know if they currently have any in stock.

Hey Brend, you can make your own explosives from google as well and its a lot safer than making Ginger Beer - this is the voice of experience - lol Remember the days of the brown stone screw top bottles? Now that was real ginger beer kept cold on the floor of the pantry and just waiting for a nudge from a foot......

Must try to make some more this year as I still have too many fingers left - lol.

The health office/label office will not allow Ginger beer to be imported into the island in its normal form Ginger Beer. Reason is that the name is wrong they say,it says beer and it is not beer !

They said change the name on the can, Ginger drink

Ileli currently have Idris Fiery Ginger Beer. Obviously the health office/label office have changed their mind.

There is a recipe for home made ginger beer/ale on the Tori Avery website.

Apparently, if you miss out the fermentation stage it is non alcoholic but she does warn, use plastic bottles because of the risk of explosion.

Granny used to make ginger cordial, mixed with hot water it warmed the cockles on a cold winters night. Cheers.
