Is there somewhere in Girne where I can exchange an old fifty pound note for a new one?

Monex at Karakum would take it but they will make a charge, when I enquired it was 15 tl but this was changing it to TL.

i think most exchange places take them but at a charge. i was told the central bank in Lefkoşa would take them but i haven't put it to the test. i learnt the news on the Saturday after the cut off and thought that maybe Monday they would be a bit lenient but no one would take them. asked at Kosan ex and they would at 10%. in the end a friend was over from uk and exchanged them for me. that may be your best bet if there are any friends over or coming over before their deadline arrives in October. good luck

I sent money back to UK , TRNC banks will not exchange them now.
