Has anyone managed to get more than one ticket for the Deep Purple concert? I wanted 2 one for me and one for hubby who does not have his own email address. I suppose I could create one for him, but I also wanted some for my friends who are over here on holiday. How do you get tickets if you don't have an email address?????? Are they deliberately trying to keep the numbers down...

No I don't so - they appear to just want each applicant to be identifiable and have a ticket to match their ID for security purposes. Create email addresses and their should be no problems as long as the name on the ticket matches the ID at the time of entry....

I had the same problem, I then applied for other tickets via different emails, and within 5 minutes a reply went to my junk mail, and then the actual ticket went to my inbox a few minutes later. The only way to get your tickets is for each person to have their own email.

Thanks both, looks like creating email addresses to get the amount that we want then.....hardly 'security'!!! But there you go, this is Cyprus....

The security is that the tickets and the various proofs of ID match...

I can understand that aspect Groucho, what I don't understand is why we have to create unnecessary email addresses.....bonkers. It just means that I will end up creating 5 new email addresses but all of the tickets will still come to me......where's the sense in that.

I got two tickets on the same email address. I had trouble with a gmail account so I used another email address and registered for both my husband and myself on that one email account. After about a month I also got a confirmation back on my gmail address so how they are going to work out the number of attendees is beyond me.

Don't know how you managed that cjtill. I tried lots of times to do it, but using the same email address still only delivered one ticket. Anyway, have created another address so hubby now has a ticket. Owl Lady, I have real doubts about how they are going to police it on the night. Don't know how many they are expecting but unless someone knows something about organising concerts on the scale that it might be, I think that it will not be plain sailing. Especially toilets, and parking. Speaking from experience in the past of concerts, these are two major issues. But, we shall see.

Does anyone know if there are any support acts and what time it would be starting. There doesn't seem to be any more information on their website apart from Deep Purple are starting at 9.30pm (which probably means about 11 pm)

I have just been on the website, and translated the page to English. It now seems to be saying that the need to register has now been removed due to extreme intensity of interest.........so all the weeks of frustration of applying for tickets, creating fictitious email addresses to get tickets, has been for nothing from the look of things........ ha ha, this is Cyprus.....well I hope that we all enjoy the concert and thanks to Deep Purple for not bowing under pressure to pull out!

Has anyone had trouble actually printing their ticket off?
My wife and i both registered on different computers, and differing e mails, and both recieved notification of our ticket. Tried to print them today in readiness for Saturday. My wife used my computer, as opposed to her laptop whcih she used to register, and it printed half her ticket only.
when i tried to access my ticket it said the page was denied and would not allow me to even look at the ticket. This is becoming a farce to be honest. The same thing has happened to a friend of mine and as yet his e mail to NEU asking for help remains unanswered
Has anyone else had this problem ???

Robert - you can copy the ticket to your Android or iPhone and use that for entry along with your ID - at least that's what the site says.. just a thought.

As I said earlier, this has now appeared on the website.....
NEU removed the obligation to register for the big concert due to intense interest

Well that does not bode well for site security at all - if you don't know who is coming chaos will reign! Surely they don't think this is the way to go given the animosity from the south... or maybe they do - and it's a provocation?
