It does seem that the 18 months' grace is now well and truly in the melting pot.
I must say that I find it extremely annoying that this has happened at such a delicate time, and combin ed with the voting fiasco in the south, I cannot see any chance of a reconciliation. Part of Turkey? That would hurt a lot of my TC friends, but that also seem sinveitable.
What do others think?

Do you not think the timing is quite deliberate? They don't want Turkey in so lets tag them as a 'pariah state'....
Turkey should have counter-sued for bad faith on the part of Greece and the UK for failing to fulfil their duties as guarantors to the two Cyprus communities at the time and counter-claim for the TC community's missing and misappropriated property to boot... What's sauce for the goose...

Agreed Groucho. The TC's did not move fast enough and so once again are the victims! Not fair, not right, not just, but unfortunately within the 'Law'.
But why would Turkey want to be in the EU? Far better to find allies nearer to home the other way, or north or south.

Seems to me the Americans , EU and their regular followers are taking sides and gradually turning the screws on the Cyprus situation , like it or not it would seem there is little support for the North &Turkey, which was more than apparent with Bidens recent visit, if a deal is to be done, expect the south to come up trumps. A worrying situation for non TCs as no doubt the crap will land firmly in there lap of the foreign contingent with little recourse. Time to get the blinkers on and pour another GnT.
