Can anyone give us any suggestions please. We're in a rental place temporarily with a really weird air con unit. It likes to play us a tune, keeps 'singing' to us constantly. We've changed the batteries, had it serviced and regassed, but even when we turn it off with the remote it still sings away, in other words currently unusable. Any suggestions to stop it would be very welcome! Many thanks to any replies

There should be a fused spur on the wall somewhere close to it, will have a small light on it like the ones in your kitchen for the washing machine etc, try turning that off, I have one that does similar.
