I'm probably one of the eldest on this forum - I remember V2 rockets and not just in The Imperial War Museum - but today did my first scuba dive. Rah man it was soooo Kool.
Did it with Genghis of the North Cyprus Scuba Centre and he was patience personified. Genghis spent a while thoroughly going over and explaining the equipment and fitting it for me and to cut to the chase after a few safety drills at waist height in the sea we swam underwater and went down 3 meters.
Underwater Genghis was by my side all of the time and soon it was time to surface and walk to dry land.
I was surprised how very easy it is to breath underwater with an aqualung and I'll be auditioning for the part of James Bond's grandad in his next film.

And I will audition for Grandma. See you there. I had my first attempt with Ayca over at Iskele not too long ago and just have not had the time to go again (it ruins my hair, darlings!). But isn't it just great? Just dsying to have a second go, and yes, breathing underwater is easy peasy, but I think a lot depend son how you have bene taught to breath. I was taught for singing purposes, so I breath with the diaphragm. Anyone who breaths with upper chest, might need to lre-learn the technique of proper breathing.

Anyway, let me know when the auditions are to be held, and I will see you there!
