Can anyone let me know where I can get directions for this trail please? I would love to do this 10k walk but can not seem to find it anywhere. It is the trail that follows the mountain ridge.
Thanks.

Re: Buffavento to Ambelia Trail
If you look up castlesultra.com then go into the race info you will find the google earth map that the marathon runners used.
This will show the trail you need. Please do not do it on you own and make sure you have the correct equipment.
Hope this helps

Re: Buffavento to Ambelia Trail
Thanks guys, just in planning stage ready for October when the weather cools a bit. There will be four of us, all experienced walkers, all with mobiles and minimum 2ltr Camelback's as well. GPS maps on phones and all the bells and whistles as there should be - including the first aid kit, two of us trained.
The advice is most welcome to see as lots of people think Cyprus is just a sunny place where help is just around the corner! Big mistake. Lots of Google maps and planning makes it as safe as we can - but always looking out for that random goat attack - lol.

HotHippo, must be doing it wrong! The only two links that work for me are URLS to other sites?

Found a way around it but the one trail map I need is not there - I would buy the lot of KMTA if it had that one in it!
