I had a strange phonecall .. I accepted the call ..
The number was 08503600404
Does anyone recognise this number ..

If you google it there seems to be lots of Turkish posts about it - sounds like a scam where they try to get personal details. Don't answer it.

Got a similar one yesterday, hung up, then googled the code. It was from Somalia!

Same thing happened to me last week-I got several missed calls from a similar number to that,and eventually my curiosity got the better of me and I rang the number,a woman answered and quickly put the phone down-The sting is that I later noticed that 500 credits had disappeared from my account-It was obviously some sort of premium line.
The lesson is I think that if you don't recognise the number,and it's not local don't answer it!!

Won't accept a call in future till I have my specs on & can see who the caller is ..

I quite regularly get unknown calls from various parts of the world. If I don't recognise the number, i.e. it is stored in my listing so a name comes up, I don't answer it. I check the number afterwards by googling and find what the country code is. Often from Romania, Germany, Greece and a few others. Not had Somalia yet though. Don't answer them cos all your credits will go, and lord only knows what else they can steal.

I keep getting calls from Bulgaria at about 3am.Im quite tempted to share my happiness with them but now just switch is to silent.

I had a call from a number yesterday

08504553424 didn't know it, so didn't answer it.

I too have had a couple of missed calls and do not recognise the number so ignore it, texts from unknown sources get the same treatment.

Even stranger, the call from Somalia, turned out in fact to be from my sister-in-law in Turkey.!!!!!same time and every thing. Definitely not Turkish code as number is stored in my phone.! They heard me answer, but could not make contact.

Hope she was not charged then for re-routing through Somalia!!!!
