Going rate is 80-100TL per day depending where you are.

I charge £10 an hour and nobody winces!

ailletoo - well I for one wince. Everybody I know pays 50tl for 1/2 day and that's 3 different cleaners.
Incidentally, I hope you don't end up wincing. Government people monitor this website and I wouldn't have thought it wise to publicise how much you are earning - unless you have a work permit of course.

JBA - well noted! No work permit, caught = huge fine and further observation. The lack of thought by posters here beggars belief, be it smuggling proscribed goods from Ikea, illegal work, property repairs/maintenance et al. Use word of mouth/friends recommendations.

Proscribe - "officially forbid something", (English Oxford Dictionary) so yes, the word is correct, as smuggling is officially forbidden. Further, your computer has an individual log-in code to the server. If they want to find you, they have the IT nuance to do so. However, you crack on.

Tom Steele - no IT nuance needed - there's a phone number on another thread

No argument, just healthy debate about expat arrogance regarding our host country laws and which ones they choose to ignore/disobey. I have a great life, thanks!
