Help needed!

We have no tv channels which show the World Cup matches. I think it's Nile Sat? We had family over recently who managed to stream the matches with a laptop onto the tv. They left us instructions on how to do this but needless to say when we tried it, we could t get it to work! Any advice would be appreciated but in dummy language please! We can get the desktop via the hdmi cable on the tv but when we google wiziwig and click on the live streams it either asks us to download software, which we are reluctant to do, or does not open at all. Would really love to know what we are doing wrong

Hi I am not a wizz with internet/laptops, but hope this helps. If you type in on google" Film On", it should open up a tv system, lots of channels,ITV BBC etc and a lot of football on ITV. You may have to register with e mail address but thats safe. When categories open up on left side click on UK channels, then scan down to ITV. Havent been successful with getting ours through tv but perhaps someone else can help with that. Ours just comes up no signal, but have managed to record from it. Hope this helps in some way

Hi, Unfortunately FIFA have asked Filmon not to show any World Cup matches. If you try to access any BBC / ITV World Cup matches on Filmon a banner saying this appears.
I had to go to a bar and spend 6TL for a beer to watch one Uraguayn player beat eleven English.

Ha! Ha! Good comment Johnrebus:). Unfortunately I don't have Digiturk either. However, massive thanks for the info re Film On. I was able to watch the Murray match yesterday. Pure bliss! Being a Wimbledon fan I'm so happy that I will be able to see the matches. My partner is deeply depressed however re the Fifa ban on Film On but hey! Some you win, some you lose Roll on September when we move to our next house where we will have Multimax. In the meantime my partner will just have to rely on the hospitality of friends and neighbours!
