19 Litre water bottle problems.

Recently most of my water bottles have become stuck in my water dispenser.

It could be that the plastic seal around the top of the bottle is just a fraction thicker, or maybe the dispenser bit is scratched and therefore the bottle becomes stuck. I cannot see anything, so I was wondering if anyone else has noticed the same problem?

I need a hammer and a piece of wood to bash the bottle out of the dispenser!

My water is delivered from a local guy in Alsancak by van which leaks oil over my drive every time he comes.

If no one has this problem, do you have any advice?

If you change your water supplier you will....not have a van leaking oil over your drive.....and possibly find better fitting bottles from another supplier .

Luckily i have a tap that gives me drinking water so no problem I used to use Cemersu and the bottle got stuck.

I use Evsu and Icy without any real problems. Sometimes if they are a little stubborn twisting the bottle helps.

I too am having problems with my water bottles becoming stuck in my water dispenser. A neighbour kindly helped me out one time, and then I made the Alsancak delivery guys try to remove it last time. It took them 20 mins! They were not impressed, but seemed to think it was my dispenser. I did mention that it is doing this more and more and they did just shrug. I am reluctant to switch suppliers as Ii have always found the Alsancak guys helpful. They bring the water indoors for me, leave the gas in the shed for me and if I am not there, it is never a problem they leave my water and call back another time to collect their money. I am just guessing that it is the plastic surround... A big pain though

Just a thought, have you asked anybody to inspect/service your water cooler? It would be unlikely that several water bottle tops were defective.

I have checked everything.

I am now totally convinced that the little nozzle thing that pierces the plastic in the top of the water bottle is what is getting stuck.

Obviously this has not changed so it must be the plastic top on the bottle that is a little thicker, or a bit stirdier.

Maybe it is just the Alsancak guy who is using these new tops?

Which of the Alsancak people deliver gas and water to the house. Is the Muhtar chap near the Pork Shop. We could do with a service like that - old age and heavy gas bottles don't go together we're finding.

Having same problem occasionally with Evsu bottles, the plastic tops are definitely thicker, just have to keep wiggling bottle to get it off. Don`t think buying a new water cooler will cure the problem!
