Anyone with Digiturk, who hoped to watch the tennis--not on either Eurosport 1 or 2, as usual, try channels 78 and 79, both showing Wimbledon live, with English commentaries.

Isn't it wonderful - all that greenery, fans that know how to behave themselves (unlike at the French Open which was dreadful), smartly dressed ballboys and girls AND PLAYERS IN WHITE rather than every fluorescent colour you can think of. Bliss

Couldn't agree with you more sophie absolute bliss to see everyone dressed correctly and thank god the Wimbledon committee have this year stamped down on the coloured knickers the girls were sneakily wearing last year as if everyone wouldn't notice!! What ever happened to the frilly white ones they used to wear years ago - showing my age here

If you don't have those channels in your normal package, you can pay Digiturk for just 1 or 2 months.

Well, our joy at having 2 channels showing Wimbledon was short-lived. First, this afternoon, Channel 78 stopped showing it, and stated that it was now a subscription channel. Just over an hour later, 79 followed suit, so it's back to the computer. Sorry folks.

We've been watching 78 and 79 most the time, haven't seen any messages about it being subscription. - just watched a nail biting match with Novak winning. Occasionally Digiturk showed 5 mins of football between matches but always went back to English commentary after a few mins. It's still on at 9.45pm - Wasniaki and someone.

Wasn't that a brilliant match with Novak and the big Check guy(can't spell his name), especially for only the 2nd round. Certainly worth the money to pay for these 2 months.

That's my boy!!! Been following Novak since he was about 18, long gangly legs, thin scraggy neck, continual problems with contact lenses and problem after problem with the heat in Australia Until that is, they discovered he had a wheat intolerance and he's never looked back. I'm not very patriotic - support Serbia in tennis and the Netherlands in football!!

Pleased to say that 78 and 79 have returned --absent for nearly 24 hours, but back this morning.
