Damp concrete treatment

Does anyone know of any products available for internal sealing of concrete walls against damp?
I can find plenty over here in the uk. My problem is two walls in the house are affected by damp, and the paintwork is peeling. I wish to treat the wall, let it stabilise and repaint them.

I also have a couple of small damp patches on the floor but I think I can get away with that.

So far the best sort of treatment I have seen is something called conseal which penetrates into the concrete and cures using the alkaline in the concrete, this then hardens over time and can be painted over. It redirects the damp to the outside where it can evaporate.

Does anybody have any ideas/expertise?

Thanks in advance. Chris

Hi there CatalkoyChris, There are few companies that sell excellent sealants or damp treatment products in Nicosia but in my opinion wouldn't it be better to try to pin point the cause of the damp first? We have treated similar problems in the past but unless the cause of it is found, the damp will come back. Usually it is a small gap within the the tiles outside the house that let the rain water penetrate under the house..

Thanks for the answer.
Does anyone know how much a builder/surveyer would charge for this?
And how difficult it is to locate the cause of damp?

Chris

They removed a metre high strip 0f plaster all round the walls downstairs removed a large amount of tiles on the front balcony down stairs and laid a black sticky membrane then another black substance on top of that. The walls were injected with a chemical twice then re plastered and repainted. The tiles were replaced outside and he did the upstairs balcony too. He also moved my patio doors forward a metre and repainted outside. £1200.
