Got my last spectacles from Specsavers and despite several return visits and many adjustments they are the worst I have ever bought!
Have been told on several visits that local opticians in Kyrenia offer good value and quality specs.
Anyone have any experience in this area or any advice??
I will be visiting in August for a month.

Myself, hubby and friends have all used Akay Optics in the High Street, Girne. There is an eye clinic in the road at the back of Pia Bella on the left just as you approach the Bellapais traffic lights. She does a very good, thorough eye check, but if you have a prescription from UK, the opticians will make the glasses to that. I have no complaints at all about Akay and have had numerous pairs from there over the years. They probably won't be as cheap as specsave but the glasses are very good quality.

I have used both Akay and Canada Optics and no problems with either. Eyes tested at that eye clinic over a period of 9 years.
