Ale brewery plan hit by red tape!

Saw this rather sad story in the Cyprus Mail:

The question is...........if they could move the kit north of the Green Line, could they get going, or is the tradition of bureaucratic obstruction just as bad in North Cyprus?

As a real ale drinker who spends a lot of time in Cyprus, I really hope they can make a go of it.

As a real ale fan the idea is fine. BUT real ale is to be drunk in cold climates, that is why lager is so successful in warmer areas. Bring it in in the winter, but give me draft Efes in the summer

I agree that real ale is better for the cooler month, but they are planning other beers!! The British abroad apparently thrived on 'India Pale Ale' !!

IPA was specially produced so that it could hold out against the long transport times to India and heat
