Beware of turning at the bottom of the road - it may hurt!

Yesterday I asked my husband to collect the dogs kimlik cards from Petline Catalkoy, maybe a bad excuse but the L200 has not got the best turning circle so he continued down to the end of the road and crossed on to what he thought unmade no man's ground. Next thing a man stood in front of the car slamming his fists on the bonnet shouting gel gel gel. As my husband did not get out the car the man moved to the door which he ripped open and received a hard fist to his left ear and then another punch to his right shoulder.
So please if you visit anyone in this area do a 3 point turn or risk having this person set on you. It has really shaken us since 1987 we have never seen this kind of behaviour apart from 'mature' ladies spitting in each others faces within the expat community. We gather when reported he has also pushed a shotgun in a person's face. Maybe a sign informing people its his land would help.

Thankyou snd1966 for that tip.
With a smaller car, the other half always does a 3point turn, (better driver) If I was driving I would most likely have driven to the end of the cull de sac just as your husband did.
With your warning I definitely won't venture down there even if it means a 6 point turn!!!!!

Regardless of male or female this is GBH, Even here I'm sure this isn't allowed. Can your Muhtar not persuade this bloke with "anger management problems" to at least erect a sign in 2 languages that it's Private Property. Even a bog standard Skull and Crossbones would indicate that its private!! I'd certainly take him off my Christmas Card list if it were me!!

He'll be doing that to the wrong person one day - then it maybe his turn for "a hard fist to his left ear"

Been to Petcross this morning and there is now a sign up which says `no parking and please don`t walk your dog on this property`. (Maybe he reads the forum eh)?

The original post refers to Petline in Catalkoy, not Petcross.
I have seen people walking their dogs in the lane opposite Petcross despite the sign and the householders have come out to object, rightly so I think.
The guy near Petline needs reporting to the police GBH is GBH in any country.

Just to be boring, (in the UK) it would certainly not be "GBH", at worst it would be "ABH" and more likely "Common Assault". Definitely an assault though.

Instead of driving to the bottom and doing a 3 point, why not reverse into the space where the vet usually parks. I have never had a problem with parking outside the white gate, and then reversing to the huge space behind, I have only ever seen the vets truck parked in that area. Not that I am condoning this mans actions at all, but just a thought.
