Although its very easy to blame the speadboat driver, what on earth was the swimmer doing 300 metres out to sea, either way of course very sad story.

On the beaches around the university's "Beach Club" the depth increases gradually. Swimmers there regularly go out at least 100 metres to get a proper swim.
By the way, yesterday, there was another incident further up the coast on the Kaya Artemis Resort beach where a jet ski hit the jetty. No injuries were reported there.

Sabah saatlerinde de Kaya Artemis yakınında kontrolünü kaybeden bir jet ski kullanıcısı iskeleye çarparak durabildi"
