My neighbours Car Road Tax ran out end of June, Is he allowed one month's grace before he has to tax it?

From what i have heard, they don't like you to go past the due date

Generally you pay the month after it runs out!
Look at the tax disc, the month written in Turkish towards the bottom of the disc is the month it is due for payment.

Nick he can pay anytime in July .. They wouldn't take payment in June in case the tax went up ..

Yes, but it's minimal.
