Anyone missing a big German Shepherd dog in lower Ozankoy as there was one in my garden this morning and it has a large gash on its right back leg and seemed to be having problems walking although it did leave, they are not the type of breed i would approach even more so as it had an injury.

Please phone KAR asap, an animal with a large gash in this heat is going to get badly infected very, very quickly and it needs treatment. Please see if the dog is still around or about and let them know. Thank you.

Where abouts are you in Ozankoy?
Is it a long haired GSD?
There is one who lives opposite my friend in Zuleka Sokak and he seems to get out and wander about a bit. Have seen him down by the old bowling alley in one direction and up near Rafters in the other direction.

We are on the road to rafters coming from Karakum road my concern is he was injured, just past water tower.

Panchocat, could you friend check with the owner opposite her. seems it may well be the same dog!

If this dog is seen again, please telephone the KAR office on 0533 869 4098 (Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm). If course, he is owned by someone, then hopefully they will take him to the vet and get this injury treated!

If it is the same dog he has been limping for quite a while now, but the gash is new.
Our friends have gone back to the UK for a few weeks but if anyone is in that area before me the house to go to is located in Zuleka Sokak.
That's the first road on the right after the water tower and the house is on the right hand corner of the first right turn once you are in Zuleka Sokak.
The dog is usually kept in the back garden and he has been getting out since he was a puppy.

Any sign of the dog again?

I have not seen him so just hope it is safe and got sorted.
