Does anyone know if Aziz who works in the Belediye office in Alsancak (water bills etc.) is still the Muhtar for that area of Alsancak since the change of Mayor? We need our letter for residency and he was acting Muhtar 2 years ago as Orhan wasn't well.

Irfan has done ours ever since we came --I haven't heard if the Muhtar has changed, but Irfan is usually to be found in the coffee shop next door to the belediye offices, or else he's fishing near mare Monte.

There was always 3 Muhtars and the one we had to use lived up by the Acmenya, but he fell ill and Aziz took over. We'll go muhtar hunting tomorrow!
