If I remember rightly at the end of last year on the old NC44 forum someone was advertising that they were importing foreign eg Japanese and Chinese foodstuffs and sauces. I was away in England for a few months and had completely forgot all about it. Does anyone remember and did it ever materialize. I would be grateful for some info.

Hi, sorry don't remember this. But Erdener have lots of chinese/japanese sauces, stir fry and marinade, noodles, Thai curry sauces, in fact, I would say, anything you might need to make your 'foreign' dishes, and not too pricey.
Well worth a look

We worked the market every saturday ands sold more than we did in a week in the restaurant/deli. So I hope you find what you are looking for xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Lilli,
thanks for your input. I do realise how frustrating it must be to import goods, especially ones that people have asked for or shown interest in, only to struggle to sell them. I am the sort that really wants a lovely fresh cauliflower or some lovely crisp celery when they are not in season!. With a very small outlay if any, it would make more sense, and a lot of people are doing it, is to have a stall round the various markets here now rather than going to the expense of renting premises with all the overheads etc.
