A friend has asked me to put a post on for her - she is looking for a garage in the Lapta/Karsiyaka/Alsancak area - she has a Toyota and is looking for a reliable garage in these areas to get her car serviced anyone who knows of a good garage could you please let us know - thank you to any replies received

I have found Erdogus to be pretty good and charge reasonable prices. Coming from Lapta towards Girne, take the right fork just past the Merit Hotel turn - this is a lane which runs behind the Friends Hotel. Erdogus are a couple of hundred yards down the lane, on the left.

Not only is he handy for you but of course there is no likelihood of a misunderstanding due to language.

I have used Ziggy for the past 8 years and he is excellent. He will always try to repair rather than replace anything. He speaks perfect English as he has lived and worked in the UK. His prices are very reasonable and I have never had a complaint in the last 8 years.
