Hi all,

im moving over to trnc later this year.

My current mobile is dying! Should I buy a new one here and get it chipped on arrival or should I just buy one when I get there?

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Sandra x

For Smart Phones, far cheaper to buy in the UK , unsure what you mean by chipped , just make sure that it's unlocked !

If you are staying and have an address , you can get your phone on contract, not pay as you go, much cheaper, my standing charge is 3.85TL per month!!! and I get calls!!

If you buy in the UK, may be cheaper in the beginning, but if you have a problem, one hell of a price to take it back, all so the guarantee problem!! Before I moved here permanently, was advise for that reason, to buy here. IMO buy here.

Suggest you get Moto G, in UK,vey good android smart phone from I think Carphone Warehouse, comes unlocked and with no contact.
It should cost no more the £120 new, super display, tests say better display than iPhone.

you can easily get on ebay and amazon I think, go for one with big memory, as this phone has no SD card slot.
