Hii, Can anyone recommend a company that repairs awnings, the one we have is similar to those the shops use.

there is place heading out of karakum on the left its near a garage i think,they have a sign up saying they do awnings etc

That is correct next to the KPet garage.

Also if you want a new one there is a superb place in Famagusta that is very very reasonable. Directions are at the roundabout that takes you to border carry straight on (going south) and aim for the mosque with twin minerettes the ware house is just behind the mosque.

I took my gazebo into the awning shop to have a new one made, the old one was a bit bleached but still in good nick and we were going to carry on using it, I took the old one thinking that they would just copy the pattern and measurements, we also tried to explain this to the girl, no problem was the reply, so I was horrified to find that they had cut the old one up, so instead of coming out with 2, I came out with 1. So for anyone else thinking of doing the same make sure they come to the house to measure up or else dont give them a servicable one to copy.
They did do a good job on the new one, 360 TL for a standard size.

I would like to thank you all for your replies. We have just had Hatib from http://www.best-dreams.com come round to our Villa he fixed the awning, at a very reasonable price, we can highly recommend Hatib.
