The most dedicated vet

I just have to post this, as Firdez from Petcross Vets surgery has just visited me. My dog Tag has a skin problem and needs regular injections. As Firdez had promised to come at lunch time and was unable to make it for various reasons. She has been in touch all day, trying to get here. She started work at 8.00am and has just called now on her way home 22.20pm. How is that for dedication? if only more people were like her.

Agree that all the girls at Petcross go the extra mile, but I think on the whole all of the vets here are wonderful.
I know Firdez is always happy to inject our dog in the car as he gets uber stressed at the vets. We didn't get that treatment or understanding in the UK.

I agree, from what I hear about the others. I can only speak from my own experience, and have had contact with all the Petcross staff, but basically Firdez is my vet (not me personally)

My dog "Trubel " loves going to Petcross .So much so that over the last 3 months she's snapped her Cruciate ligament -had gold implants in both hips and an operation on her jaw.Despite all this she wags her tail every time she meets the girls at Petcross and never moans at the cost of all this treatment.lol.
Can't speak highly enough of all the vets on the Island but Petcross gets the biscuit.
Woof woof!

I completely concur with all the praises for Petcross. We've known Firdez for 10 years or so now, she's treated all our dogs, come out to Karsiyaka when necessary (though a long time ago now). We love Sibel too, Sibel cried along with me when we had to have our Molly put down, what a star!!!!!!!!!!

What I didn't mention was, one of the reasons Firdez did not get to my house until so late, was she was operating. One dog with a broken jaw and another which had been attacked by another dog. Sadly that on died. She was still very upset. Bless them all.
