Does any one know what the guy who keeps discharging his rifle, in the Arapkoy, Catalkoy Laura beach area is doing.

As he has been @ it for three days now.

Well that is easy to answer !

He keeps missing what ever it is he is trying to hit !

We've had similar at Esentepe - on Sunday morning immediately before the Muezzin before 5am - I assume to signal the end of Ramazan/start of Bayram and again 2 shots yesterday morning at 5am - I assume to signal the end of Bayram.

No they aren't @ those times, they are different times through out the day.

Just a thought - there is a small holding near us and they have some sort of 'gun shot' going off at regular intervals to scare the birds - could it be same kind of thing? Don't always hear it but it can give a hell of a fright when you drive past the field just when it goes off.

I have heard that there is an automatic bird scarer that is used to protect the crops, veg etc. Could be most likely explanation.
