Frozen Shoulder

My wife has suffered with a frozen shoulder for some time now and she could do with some relief. I know there is an injection (Cortisone?) that can alleviate the pain, but does anyone have details of its use in the TRNC. We have used Kolan in the past and are comfortable with that hospital, but Famagusta is more local.

TIA

please try Can Corbanoglu in Lefkosa. http://cobanogluclinic.com/index.php/en/9-contact-us

I was in a lot of pain and was on the way to frozen shoulder. Can is great, explains everything in detail with models and gives you exercises to do. I had some injections in my shoulder and two days later was pretty much back to normal. Honestly recommend him, very nice guy, English is good too. He worked with Dr Eckhart, the back cracker in Catalkoy for years.

His place is near to the Metehan crossing, turn left at the monument roundabout follow the road along and turn left at China Bazaar, follow road round to right and you can see his sign on top of the building not far away.

He holds surgeries some days with no appointment necessary, I only waited about half an hour. It cost me 100TL for the treatment which was more than fair I felt.

Good luck, hope you recover, it really isn't nice!

Injections were called Mezo I think - not too sure what that is and didn't bother looking it up either!
